Immersive Learning and Academic Innovation Consulting
I support colleges, universities, and cultural institutions in exploring immersive learning and digital pedagogy with purpose and academic grounding. My focus is helping institutions imagine how immersive teaching and emerging media can serve their mission, and then guiding those ideas into achievable practice. Whether a campus is beginning to experiment with XR or scaling early initiatives, I work closely with faculty, staff, and academic leaders to surface opportunities, plan intentionally, and build confidence throughout the process.
Background
I hold a PhD in the humanities and an MS in instructional technology and learning sciences. I have led NEH-funded immersive scholarship and faculty–student XR production pipelines, and I am completing formal project-management certification.
This unique background enables me to support institutions through both conceptual and practical phases of immersive learning adoption. I help teams translate ideas into action, informed by research and hands-on experience with academic innovation. My aim is to build capacity and momentum so programs grow steadily, serve students effectively, and remain sustainable over time.
Collaboration
I collaborate across academic and cultural spheres, working with partners engaged in teaching, research, and public knowledge. This includes teaching and learning centers, academic leadership teams, and faculty groups involved in curriculum design and innovation. I also work with digital humanities and emerging media initiatives, as well as cultural heritage organizations and museums committed to experiential interpretation and public engagement. These collaborations help shape immersive learning ecosystems that honor academic values and expand access to transformative learning experiences.
